Press releases communicate key company updates to the public. To ensure compliance and accuracy, all press releases must be reviewed by the legal team before publication.
Workflow for Press Release Review
- Submission Process:
- Send all press releases requiring legal review to legalreview-comms@samsara.com.
- Include the following:
- Final or near-final draft.
- Background information about the release, including objectives, target audience, and key stakeholders.
- Confirmation that any customer or partner mentions have been pre-approved.
Review Guidelines
- Content Review:
- Ensure all statements are factually accurate and supported by evidence.
- Review for alignment with Samsara’s branding and messaging guidelines.
- Confirm no confidential or proprietary information is disclosed without prior approval.
- Highlight any areas requiring additional legal input (e.g., intellectual property, regulatory disclosures).
